Hey Guys!!!
I'm back, and I'm super excited! While reading this book, I was on my bed, gripping the edge out of excitement – the suspense was killing me! π
Okay, so this is Book Four of Ginika's Bridesmaids, the story of Ozioma. Originally, I wanted to write about the series together, but I changed my mind and decided to write about each book separately but accordingly. But after reading Ozioma's story, I knew I had to write about her first – the excitement was too much to contain! π
*Summary*
So, in Books 1-3, we saw Ozioma as a strong woman who doesn't take nonsense. But in her own story, we see a different side – a desperate woman who just wants to get married, feeling the pressure of being the only one left among her friends. She finally finds a man, Onochie, who ticks all her boxes: handsome, rich, and Igbo. However, their relationship is put to the test when family opposition arises, with his family claiming she's too fat for their brother, an ex-athlete. During this crisis, Ozioma finds herself drawn to her longtime best friend, Banji, who is the exact opposite of what she thinks she wants in a husband.
Honestly, I finished reading this book at 3:04 AM! I kept telling myself, "After one more chapter, I'll go to bed," but I couldn't drop the book until I finished it. The suspense was so intense that I was afraid I'd die from hypertension! π There were parts where I wanted to strangle the main character, and others where I wondered what the author was thinking. π
If you love suspense, this book is for you! But be warned: the suspense is killing! π and if you don't like suspense...this book is still for you! I'm pretty sure my family will be on my neck for staying up till this time, but they'll be fine. π
This time around, my rating for this book is 4.85 out of 5. It's that good! Actually, all Adesuwa's books are that good. Whether you're a fan of suspense or not, this book is still for you. So, I hope you find the time to read it and other books that will feature on my page.
Feel free to comment and follow! Till we meet again, stay blessed π.
